We have a dedicated in-house Japanese recruitment department, supported by a specialised marketing strategy and the bespoke brand trials4japanese. Through this innovative approach, we receive circa 250 enquiries per month from potential Japanese volunteers.

To generate awareness and interest in Richmond's trials amongst the Japanese community, we deliver sustained and targeted marketing campaigns across the UK. This includes advertising, articles, and direct marketing campaigns to targeted media and to Richmond's Japanese volunteer database. We ensure that the messages and design are tailored to the Japanese community.

Potential Japanese volunteers can then find out more by visiting www.trials4japanese.co.uk or by calling our international and UK freephone numbers.

Our dedicated and bilingual Project Managers are based at our unit in Croydon's Mayday Hospital, and manage the process from the initial enquiry through to trial participation.

Volunteers are briefed and their suitability is qualified firstly via telephone. If qualified as suitable, they are registered and invited to Richmond's facilities for study specific screening.

Finally, those volunteers who pass the screening become Bridging Study participants.

Our Japanese recruitment team makes up the UK's largest in-house volunteer recruitment department, with a database of over 37,000 volunteers encompassing diverse populations. In the past year alone, 15,000 new volunteers were recruited through successful advertising campaigns and our interactive website www.trials4us.co.uk.
